Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Talaboos (“we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit talaboos.com (the “Site”), read our blog, download materials such as guides, contact us, or apply to a role.
We are a technology company. We do not sell products or personal data through this Site, we do not run advertising, and we do not create user accounts. We use the Site to share our work and to receive inquiries and job applications.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The organisation responsible for your data is Talaboos, a company registered in Cyprus (European Union).
For any privacy question or request, contact us at hello@talaboos.com.
2. What data we collect and why
a. Information you give us directly
- Job applications. When you apply to a role you may send us your name, email, a link to your app or company, your CV/resume, and anything you include in your message. We use this only to review and respond to your application.
- Inquiries. If you email us (for example via a “contact” or mailto link), we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use it to reply.
b. Information collected automatically
- Anonymous analytics. We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how the Site is used — for example, how many people visit a page or download a guide, and roughly where they came from (such as a link in a social post vs. a search engine). This data is aggregated and anonymous: we do not use it to identify you. See Section 4.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the Site secure and running. These logs are short-lived.
3. Legal bases (for visitors in the EEA/UK)
- Job applications: to take steps at your request before entering into a possible working relationship, and our legitimate interest in recruiting.
- Inquiries: our legitimate interest in responding to you.
- Anonymous analytics & security logs: our legitimate interest in understanding and securing the Site.
4. Analytics and cookies
We use PostHog for analytics, configured in a privacy-friendly way:
- No advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.
- Configured cookieless — we do not store tracking identifiers on your device.
- We do not collect data that identifies you personally through analytics; we look only at aggregate, anonymous numbers.
Because we do not store cookies on your device for tracking and do not process data that identifies you, we do not show a cookie-consent banner for analytics. If we ever change this, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers (“processors”) that help us run the Site and respond to you, under appropriate agreements:
- Google (Google Workspace / Google Drive) — to receive and store emails, inquiries, and job applications (including resumes).
- PostHog — anonymous analytics (EU region).
- Vercel — Site hosting and security logs.
We may also disclose data if required by law.
6. International data transfers
Some of our providers (for example Google) may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Our analytics data is hosted in the EU.
7. How long we keep your data
- Job applications and resumes: up to 6 months after the relevant role is closed, then deleted — unless you have asked us to keep your details for future opportunities.
- Inquiries: for as long as needed to handle your request and a reasonable period afterwards.
- Analytics: anonymous and aggregate only.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or restrict the personal data we hold about you, to object to certain processing, or to receive a copy of the data you gave us. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
To exercise any right, email hello@talaboos.com. If you are in the EEA/UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you.
